The beautiful Lucy is an ex-racing Greyhound and is lucky to have found a loving home & helps to raise awareness about her breed. Thanks to Rose-Hip Vital Canine, Lucy no longer needs to take anti-inflammatory drugs she was previously on! Happy days all around!
“This is 5 yr old Lucy an ex racing Greyhound, during her racing career Lucy had been run extremely hard and suffered many injuries that had never been professionally treated, she has a seriously damaged bent hock, which has caused her to have one leg longer than the other which has given her serious hip and back problems. When my group Busselton Greyhound Awareness took her on 9 months ago as a foster she was put on anti inflammatory drugs from the vet but as a young dog we didn’t want to keep her on them long term as there effectiveness wouldn’t see her through to a long life. So the decision was made to try her on Rose hip Vital Canine, to date thanks to RHVC she no longer needs drugs and as you can see she now loves to run for fun, not race for money. Lucy has now passed her Green collar assessment which means she doesn’t need to wear a muzzle when out in public, as dictated by a 1927 law which states that all greyhounds should be muzzled when out in public. Greyhounds are the most gentle of dogs and make wonderful pets. Thank you Rosehip Vital for giving Lucy the spring back in her step.”
